LIGHT
Words & Music by Amber Rubarth (c) 2011 Inspiraled Music (ASCAP)

Soft steps over the cracked foundation. Through the white lights of the greyhound station. Soft steps into the homes that let me in.
Open arms constant as stars above me. Overcome the lovers who never loved me. Open arms reach to the ones that call my name, he calls my name.

There’s a burning in my heart that guides me in the dark, it opens up the space around me. And it never goes away though I close my eyes some days. The light that it pours out surrounds me.

Steady breath soften the words that shake me, land mines and glories that overtake me. Steady breath turn in again and find my own. Dancing flame wait not until tomorrow, free up, feel every joy and sorrow. Dancing flame blow with the wind that comes again, it comes again.

There’s a burning in my heart that guides me in the dark, it opens up the space around me. And it never goes away though I close my eyes some days, the light that it pours out surrounds me.
